  • Troubleshooting: Sometimes problems can arise when packing items, such as lack of space or lack of materials.
  • Adaptability: Volunteering to pack items for events can mean working in different spaces, with different groups of people, and with different materials.

By volunteering for international orientations at college while being internation I learned skills such as:

  • Creativity - it may be necessary to be creative and find innovative ways to interact and teach to suit  individual needs and abilities.

Goals

I loved all my volunteering experiences and is something that I really enjoy, because of that, I would love to keep doing volunteering once I graduate and some of my goals are:
  • Commit to a certain number of volunteer hours per year to help develop a routine of regular volunteer work.
  • Aspire to assume leadership roles within volunteer organizations to help coordinate and direct service projects.
  • Look for volunteer opportunities abroad to learn about different cultures and have a global perspective of volunteer work.
  • Use your academic skills and knowledge to volunteer in areas that are related to your professional career, which could be a good opportunity to gain work experience and expand your skills.

ANAPHYLAXIS IN CHILD CARE SETTING

CPR AND FIRST AID LEVEL C 

By earning a C-Level First Aid and CPR certificate,I learned the following:

  • CPR : Learn how to perform CPR techniques in the event of a medical emergency in which a person has stopped breathing or their heart has stopped beating. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to deliver electrical shocks if necessary.
  • First Aid: Learn how to identify and treat common injuries and illnesses, such as cuts, burns, fractures, seizures, and stroke.
  • Emergency Assessment: Teaches how to assess a medical emergency and how to determine the best action to take based on the situation.
  • Illness Prevention: Learn how to prevent illness and injury through safety and prevention measures in the home, workplace, and other settings.
